For users who do not have hardware error correction, Zmodem is the fastest, most reliable transfer protocol available. However, in spite of its excellence, it has one major disadvantage. The documentation is cryptic, and is not always available. As a result many users never are able to implement the protocol. The technical explanation of how Zmodem works is found in Tutorial number 1. This tutorial attempts to introduce you to how to implement the protocol itself.
